Jenny Smith is an award-winning copywriter and teacher who has run a successful communications business since 2001.
Educated to be an educator, Jenny cut her honour's degree teeth in mainstream schools as a specialist in language, literature and drama. Despite being the teacher-who-got-the-apple, she jumped ship to create innovative ways of challenging the status quo and inspiring others.
Bought up on a diet of words in the form of poems, ditties and tales, finding the right ones has been her life-long obsession. With her first word ‘shut-up’, gleefully and oft repeated while toddler-dancing centre stage, Jenny was born to communicate well for a living.
While some [family members] say the cuteness no longer remains, the skills of finding ways to capture people’s interest and inspire them has gone from strength to strength.
If pushed, she’d list her achievements as her copywriting awards, guest speaker at national conferences and being the sole freelancer to become an approved supplier of web writing and editorial for the UK government.
Renown for her pioneering approaches with special needs and behaviour management, if she’s not got her head in a book she’ll be out whispering to her horses or developing leadership and life skills to others with the help of her equines.
